The ParcelHome 3 runs on solar energy and therefore does not need an external power source. The ParcelHome 3 does not need to receive direct sunlight but must be placed in an area where it can directly ‘see’ a considerable amount of air. As a general rule of thumb, places where plants grow well are considered good places to install your ParcelHome. In case your ParcelHome does not receive enough light, you can charge the box with external power.
In that case, we recommend to use a universal AC – DC adapter of 7.5 V with plug size: 5.5 x 2.1mm.
